Today's focus will be, OLD SPICE, FIJI with Coconut. Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner. This is the 12 Oz bottle, which retails for $6.99, depending on where you buy. Old spice is not put down as "cruelty-free". Besides themselves, suppliers and/or third parties might test on animals. Other brands like Old Spice, that fall under this category are most likely selling products where animal testing is required by law. Just like the last article, "Do you know Dr. Squatch?", this article will be written by me from my significant other's experience.

My other half started pretty strong with Old Spice products. But over time, as we learn, we change. And unfortunately, feelings have changed. Fiji with coconut is a good-smelling soap but feels very artificial. It's soap, so cleaning is not a problem. Hydrating, however, there is just nothing there. At times, the scalp feels dry with a lack of moisture. The skin feels the same ( if you use it as a body wash). The conditioner is there but in my opinion, conditioners that are fused with shampoos can dry as much as regular shampoos. Skipping out on one of the steps that it claims to do, hydrate. But yet, it still hydrates better than most. So if you need a step up from some of that boring, really dry-ass soap, look into Old Spice. If you like, they do have other products as well, such as their "GentleMan's" blend. Just know that this product in this article, like so many others, has Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. It strips the skin of its natural oils and in return, dry's out the skin. At the end of the day, you do what's best for you. This little article ends "Men November", but this will not be the end of male-focused articles. Why? Because "Men have skin too". And Beauty is for everyone.
