INNER THOUGHTS FROM NOVA

Happy Holidays Beauty Fam! This article will be more personal for this last month of the year. It's a look back at the year and the journey so far. First, a quick reintroduction to the Beauties that are new here.

💚Hello, I'm Nova, and "Beauty with Nova" is my baby! My creation, my corner of the internet where I can dive deep into the "Beauties of the world". A place where I can express myself freely without shame. Originally, Beauty with Nova started as just a "Beauty blog". But as time went on, it became much more. A touch on many topics as I grow and find my voice! Of course, the journey has not been easy, but it's been fun.

I started this a couple of years ago but it fully kicked off at the beginning of this year. One of the reasons is that last year, at the end of July, I left my job of six years.

A job that eventually changed me for the worse, and showed me that I wanted to be my boss.

Made me feel so negative inside. At that time, negative energy was all I was dishing out. I had to make strong changes. And as scary as it is, leaving your comfort zone. Taking a chance on yourself in life, making sure you win, putting yourself first. If that is something you don't know how to do, it could be hard building up the courage to do so. But once you start, it's something you will not want to part with, not want to live without.

A lot of people claim to love themselves, but most, unfortunately, do not.

As we mature and correct mistakes/failures, we hopefully can learn to come to terms with who we are as human beings. Forgive and over time love ourselves. I feel this is important while growing, and I am learning to do it daily. Putting it out in my artwork, sharing my inner thoughts. Connecting and linking with beings just like me. For my blog art, I wanted a place where many voices could come together and share love and beauty.

Since so many places hold such negativity. And that is something we all can do without in life. As someone who had their world rocked and changed by negativity, I tried my best to not allow my energy to consume a room or someone I cared for. Because no one needs to be around that. And we all know someone faking it. "Fake nice" is what I like to call it because a lot of people claim to love themselves, but most, unfortunately, do not.

So here I am, trying to make small changes to my space on the internet.

Giving a place where hate is nonexistent.

And being unique is highly recommended, where you can be you! And not feel uncomfortable doing so. I feel this is very important and helpful for those who do not have a voice. Because for the longest time, I barely had one.

And helping uplift voices means new ideas and outlooks on life! I hope makeup, fashion, and journaling help so many be able to get what they want across. I hope they/you choose this community to do that.

This year has been a big year for this blog and the articles that have found a home here. And 2023 will be even bigger! So here's to the journey so far and another for the journey forward. And I hope to see you all there!
